A heavy weight Hollywood Regency Era cotton barkcloth from the 1940s.
This fabric features brilliant white hibiscus with green and yellow accents and a red stamen.
The foliage adds a pop of color sporting small green, red, and burgundy leaves intermingled with brightly colored turquoise, yellow, and chartreuse caladium leaves with chocolate and white accents. A gray background showcases the fab floral design and the nubby texture of the barkcloth adds interest.

Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This barkcloth started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed. There is no dry rot or sun damage
There is a prominent 1" fold line on the right selvage edge from its days as a drapery, (see 2nd to last photo)

Width 44" (112 cm)......selvage to selvage
Length 85" (216 cm).....perfectly matched flat felled seam at 31" (79 cm)...see last photo
