A 1920s-1930s salesman's sample of beautiful medium weight hand blocked linen fabric with a chinoiserie design.
This textile features a spectacular rendition of a traditional Asian landscape, sporting everything from a man fishing on the lush riverbank, a mandolin player serenading friends, to a woman walking up an elaborate stone bridge awash in beautiful foliage.
The rich color palate features deep coral and green, with accents of pale yellow, cream, and chocolate.
The original tags are still intact, (see last two photos).
