A fab heavy weight cotton barkcloth from the late 40s-early 50s.
This fabric is truly Hollywood Regency at it's finest.
Vividly colored tropical leaves in shades of pink, rosewood, salmon, white, sapphire and stone blue stand out on a beautiful pale yellow ground.
Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This barkcloth started life as a drapery which has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No Dry Rot or Sun Damage
There is a very small printing flaw color miss on the yellow ground, best seen in the last photo.
Also, 1 selvage edge has a 1 inch prominent fold line and slight color variation from the side hem when it was a drapery,
