Beautiful heavy weight cotton barkcloth fabric from the Hollywood Glam 1930s.
This textile features riot of colorful blooms in color palate featuring roses in soft pink white and cranberry, blue and yellow daisies, and yellow cosmos with green stamens, and leaves of pine, turquoise and celadon green.
The acanthus leaves in mocha and white run the length of the textile, interspersed with Egyptian blue, and creamy white stripes, for a nod to neoclassical design popular in the early 20th century.
Adding even more interest is the nubby texture of the heavy weight barkcloth.
An excellent addition to any design plan in need of a little elegance with a pop of color thrown in for good measure.

This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No Sun Damage or Dry Rot.
