A spectacular cotton barkcloth from the glamorous Hollywood Glam Era of the 1940s.
Elegant tropical Bird of Paradise blooms in chartreuse with pink and fuchsia accents, and an impressive array of cranberry, fuchsia, fern green, and white foliage, climb the length of this medium weight nubby textured fabric.
A slate gray ground provides the perfect backdrop to display this stunning floral design.
A fab addition to any design plan whether it's over the top Hollywood Regency glam, or adorable Cottage Chic.
Very Good Used Vintage Condition.
This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No dry rot or sun damage
The right selvage edge shows a slight fade ,1.5" in from the selvage edge where there was a side hem from its previous life as a drapery. (see last photo).
Not noticeable, but present and needs to be addressed.
