This amazing fabric is a medium weight acetate from the 1940s.
Fabulous woodland foliage in shades of green and red are on display with the occasional wildflower and butterfly in this forest wonderland. The background of this fabric is a green and cream which allow the leaf and flower design shine.
There is a nubby texture to the fabric that completes the look, (best seen in photo #4).
This fabric started life as a drapery which has been deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
Excellent vintage condition. No sun damage holes or fading. There is a fold line running the length of the panel 1.75 inches in from each selvage edge where it was hemmed as a drapery panel (see photo #5).
