A spectacular example of 1930s medium weight Hollywood Regency Era cotton barkcloth.
A soft light gray background is the perfect complement to the stunning fuchsia and white flowers with pale yellow and black wispy stamens, and feathery fernlike foliage in celadon, yellow and hunter green.
The pebbled texture of the fabric itself adds a depth to this floral masterpiece, that when combined with the stunning design, literally makes you do a double take.
A perfect addition to any living space in need of a little elegance and sophistication without going over the top.
Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed. The selvage edges have been clipped to allow the fabric to lie flat at the seams, when it was a drapery, (see last photo).
