Great vintage barkcloth from the 1970-80s, that does its best to romanticize rural agricultural life in India in the mid 20th century.
Picture an Indian or Nepalese Grandma Moses painting on barkcloth.
Amazing detail that actually tells a story without words, featuring everything from rice planting, grain threshing and carrying harvest baskets and to working with oxen in the local village, with thatched roof homes, gardens, and palm trees.
A color palate in red, green, blue, white, chocolate brown, gray, black, and yellow adds interest to this beautiful pictorial story.
