A medium weight acetate barkcloth from the 1940s.
This fabric is a fantastic riot of colorful floral bouquets in deep coral, red, and sunny yellow with foliage in shades of chartreuse and emerald green. Behind each bouquet is a black floral silhouette pattern on a yellow background.
A muted cream ground is the perfect contrast to make this stunning design pop, while the nubby weave of the fabric itself, and the slight shimmer of the textile fibers add another layer of interest.
