Fab 50s Hollywood Glam Barkcloth Fabric with a Woodland Foliage Design/ Cotton Yardage for Upholstery and Home Decor/ 47"x 92"
A Stunning 50s medium to heavy weight barkcloth fabric with an ethereal vibe that makes you look twice.
The depth of color on this fabric is striking in this falling leaf design, in vivid shades of fuchsia, chartreuse, and green, with black and white accents.
Spiky light blue and white foliage can be seen in the background to give this barkcloth a depth of perception that gives the impression you are looking at a painting, while a light gray ground showcases the entire design to a tee.
Selvage Edges are illegible as they have been trimmed, but I believe this is a fabric made by Waverly, (see photo #5).
Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This fabric started life as draperies that have been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed.
No Dry Rot or Sun Damage!
1"in on each selvage edge, is a prominent fold line from this fabrics days as a drapery, (See photo #2).
