A spectacular medium to heavy weight cotton, 50s barkcloth with attitude.
This fabric sports large and in charge tropical flowers that look like they belong in a Dr Seuss book. Perhaps behind the ear of Horton, as he hears the Who??
The wild and wacky vibrantly colored blooms and foliage in cranberry red, fuchsia, and lime green, with sky blue and black accents, are not to be missed.
The abstract amoeba shaped background in 2 shades of gray and the nubby texture of the textile add even more interest to this fab floral design.
Very Good Used Vintage Condition
This fabric started life as a drapery that has been carefully deconstructed, freshly laundered, and pressed. There are slight color fluctuations in the gray ground, which may be a slight fade, of just a color variation in the design, It is difficult to tell, (see photo #1).
No Dry Rot or Sun Damage
